Q. What inspection
techniques and standards are used?
A.
KRT uses the AQL (Acceptance Quality Limit) sampling inspection protocol as
promulgated by the ISO (International Organization of Standards), ANSI (American National Standards Institute) and the ASQ (American Society for Quality), specifically ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2003 standard and the ISO 2859 standard, both of which have
since replaced the MIL-STD-105E standard. However, while others use the normal loosened AQL standard which heavily favors the factory by allowing more minor and major
defects, KRT uses a tightened AQL level which allows less minor and major defects and therefore is much more protective of the buyer.
Q. How do I get started using your inspection
service?
A.
You have multiple options. You can register and place your order on our website which is a fully automated online process, or you can send us an inquiry at support@KRTinspect.com or click the Questions? text icon at the top of this page.
Or, feel free to call us in North America at 800-391-9693 or outside North America at 001-760-722-2438.
The ordering process is easy and quick.
Q. How much in advance
should I book my inspection?
A.
Ideally we like to have 3-5 days advanced notice, but we often work on much
shorter notice. For example 1-3 days advanced notice is not uncommon. We also maintain a slight excess inspection capacity to handle last-minute requests.
Q. How long does it take to get my report?
A. In most every case inspection reports and photos are generated
and made available within 12-24 hours of inspection completion. An expedited report processing serviceis available which allows you to receive your report within just 4-8 hours of inspection completion. Please inquire as to the applicable surcharge.
Q. Do you have a secure on-line report retrieval
system?
A.
Yes, KRT offers a start-of-the-art, on-line inspection report retrieval and archival system
which allows for secure report downloading at anytime and from anywhere you
choose. KRT uses an SSL secure site to fully protect your information. You can also place new orders from within your control panel. It is a great system which will significantly enhance your inspection experience.
Q. Does KRT provide customer references?
A. Yes, for higher volume users KRT will provide live references. However, because
KRT receives so many new inquiries each and every day from around the globe, it
is impossible to meet all requests.
Therefore, for prospective clients with usage volumes less than 10 inspections
per month, KRT has posted
numerous testimonials on its "Why Us" page. For prospective clients with
a confirmed usage of 10 inspections per month or greater, KRT will in most cases arrange a set of live customer
references. A signed non-disclosure agreement will be required
prior to KRT releasing confidential customer information.
Q. What makes your service different from the
others?
A.
There are a growing number of very important differences between KRT `and the
others. Please see our "Why Us" page here! |
